Gibson Steps offers a direct way to experience the Shipwreck Coast from beach level. The 86-step descent leads from the Great Ocean Road down between the cliff line and the Southern Ocean.
Take your time on the stairs and enjoy the changing view once you reach the sand. From the beach, the cliffs rise overhead and offshore rock stacks add scale to the coastline.
